อาการ : Flow rate drop, pressure drop สูง, Product Water Quality ต่ำ
สาเหตุ : มีตะกรัน (เช่น calcium, magnesium, silica) สะสม
2. Product Water Quality Drop 
อาการ : ค่าความบริสุทธิ์ของน้ำ (resistivity) ไม่อยู่ในค่าควบคุม
สาเหตุ : Resin เสื่อม, membrane สกปรก, หรือระบบไฟฟ้าขัดข้อง
3. High Differential Pressure 
อาการ : ความดันขาเข้า-ขาออกต่างกันอย่างผิดปกติ
สาเหตุ : Chamber ตัน, media เสื่อม
4. Power Supply Problem 
อาการ : ไฟไม่เข้า EDI, ไม่กินกระแส
สาเหตุ : Rectifier เสีย, DC source มีปัญหา , Resin ไหม้
5. High current and voltage
อาการ : Product Water Quality ต่ำ , กินกระแสสูง
สาเหตุ : ค่าน้ำ Feed สูง , Resin เสียหาย , Membrane เสียหาย
